As we count down to Prime Day on July 16, some companies are getting a head start on the deals. I’ve combed through those live deals and sorted the truly great ones from those you can skip. It’s a pretty short list at the moment, as most reputable tech brands tend to hold their deals for actual Prime Day and reliability is super-important when you’re buying a gadget you intend to use regularly.

I’ve included only deals of 20 percent off or more. Right now, a lot of gaming gear is on sale, and I’ve seen some good deals on home-entertainment devices like Rokus and Fire TVs. Amazon is also discounting a good amount of its products, but flagships like Kindles and the Echo devices aren’t on sale yet.
